Title: AG POWER & EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (Durand)

Seeking individual with a strong work ethic to service various large and compact Ag Equipment such as Skid Steers, Excavators, Implements, Utility Vehicles, and other Small Engines machinery.   

Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Service and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues according to industry standards
  • Prepare new and used machines and equipment for delivery to customer
  • Assist Service Manager in coordinating and prioritizing service requests
  • Display a sense of urgency, professionalism and maintain an ownership mentality while performing required service for internal and external customers
  • Ensure all customers’ requests are completed in a timely manner and according to industry quality standards
  • Maintain a safe work environment identifying potentially unsafe working conditions while following OSHA guidelines and best practices as directed through the safety program
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment (shop floors, tools, job space, etc.)
  • Working fluently with management and other team member to consistently increase and improve business

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of small engines, hydraulic systems, electricity and other machinery
  • Awareness and compliance with service standards to meet warranty and customer expectations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize utilizing time management skills
  • Critical level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Capability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

  • Build dairy facilities through general construction and mechanical duties (including but not limited to concrete work, HDPE welding, and pipe fitting)
  • Prepare for and maintain orderly job sites throughout life of project
  • Maintain a safe work environment as directed through our safety program
  • Uphold a sense of urgency, professionalism, and ownership in preparation for jobs and on worksite
  • Work effectively with team members, taking leadership role when necessary
  • Maintain excellent communication with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to adjust to customer requests providing essential support
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending related training

  Qualifications:  

  • Concrete forming & finishing preferred but not required
  • Possess good judgment, quality focus and demonstrate dependability, and drive
  • Ability to work independently, being highly productive and efficient when working alone or within a team
  • Welding / torch skills preferred but not required
  • Capable of acquiring and maintaining CDL license

Seeking individual with a strong and efficient work ethic who wants to produce and fabricate parts as well as perform these duties on ag equipment.  Position requires support of other project goals and deadlines.

  • Fabricate, machine, and repair various parts of agricultural equipment & machinery
  • Ensures cost-effective usage of all equipment, supplies and tools in shop
  • Perform mechanical duties with minimal supervision

  • Complete tasks in a timely manner assisting with team coordination efforts to create an efficient work environment
