DESIGN/APPLICATION ENGINEER 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and manage tasks, including but not limited to, general construction, concrete work, and installation/repair of Ag related equipment
  • Execute R&D projects with other engineers and project managers
  • Deliver value by understanding and acknowledging customer needs and expectations
  • Identify key areas for project improvements to implement solutions to decrease warranty and rework
  • Follow processes and complete documentation to drive consistency and company profitability
  • Create technical support documents for procurement
  • Recommend changes in products, services, & policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions; make recommendations to management where applicable
  • Continually increase professional and technical product knowledge by attending related training, reviewing professional and product publications, and networking
  • Support mechanical design efforts for projects in the fabrication shop

Qualifications

  • Previous Ag (dairy) experience preferred but not required

  • 3D modeling experience required
  • Strong mechanical background and understanding

DESIGN CAD TECHNICIAN 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • CAD design including but not limited to, general construction, concrete work, and layout of Ag related equipment
  • Deliver value by understanding and acknowledging customer needs and design to their expectation
  • Work with project managers and sales engineers developing designs and layouts to support customer sales, and construction drawings.

CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical procedures including calibration of controls devices (flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature probes, etc.); and demonstrate the ability to work with automation engineers to install, commission, and troubleshoot such devices.
  • Provide technical support to teammates and customers to assist in troubleshooting and servicing of technical devices and control systems.
  • Develop efforts to test and operate new technology and processes; working closely with management, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to evaluate feasibility, profitability, and overall value.
  • Assist management and engineering team with continuous improvement measures including manufacturing methods, development of work instructions, and standardization efforts.
  • Produce & develop relationships directly with customers through engineering, servicing, and construction of Ag (Dairy) facilities.
  • Promote teamwork and communication with other departments to assist with increasing efficiency and profitability
  • Working across departments demonstrate the ability to provide standards for purchasing of equipment and components which ensure performance and compatibility with a focus on electrical and sensory equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, fluid flow.

  • Resourceful nature, able to work with devices and resources not commonly supplied to achieve the overall system goals of the customer.

AG POWER & EQUIPMENT REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Service and troubleshoot Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pumps, Electrical, Conveyors, Augers, Diesel Engines, Drivetrains, Welding
  • Prepare new and used machines and equipment for delivery to customer
  • Assist Manager in coordinating and prioritizing service requests
