Open Positions:

SHOP TECHNICIAN

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble various parts of agricultural equipment & machinery
  • Document parts and time on each work order
  • Light fabrication, cutting, and assembly of steel components
  • Perform MIG, TIG and other types of welds based on project need
  • Operate a sand blaster, band saw, and iron worker
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
  • Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring equipment.
  • Perform cost-effective usage of all equipment, supplies and tools in shop
  • Perform mechanical duties with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a safe work environment and identify potentially unsafe working situations.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner assisting with team coordination efforts to create an efficient work environment
  • Maintain constant communication with co-workers and supervisors in regards to daily tasks and completion status
  • Flexible to assist the team when needed on any and all projects or tasks

Qualifications:

  • Understand mechanical machinery, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.
  • Possess good judgement and focus while demonstrating dependability and drive
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
  • Metal working, welding, and fabrication experience.
  • Operate skid steer loader, forklifts, telehandlers, and lifts.
  • Physical ability to help with general day to day maintenance of equipment, tools and machinery, lift 50+ pounds, bend/crouch regularly, standing/walking.

PROJECT MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understand and acknowledge various customer needs and provide service and communication that exceeds their expectations
  • Utilize positive and professional conversation skills to beneficially position the company and team, then negotiate when necessary
  • Manage and assign tasks involving physical labor at various project, shop, and customer locations (including but not limited to general construction, concrete work, and installation & repair of Ag related equipment)
  • Plan and prioritize incoming work and internal requests to help achieve a parts, service, and rental absorption rate above 100%
  • Promote teamwork and clear communication with other departments to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Strive to decrease technician troubleshooting practices through means of experience, tools, and training
  • Maintain a safe work record, manage and coach on the use of safety equipment, unsafe working conditions, and enforce company policies as well as OSHA guidelines and best practices as directed through the safety program
  • Enforce proper process flow and documentation to assist in tracking efficiency and department profitability. Complete customer transactions when necessary
  • Manage and resolve personnel issues by analyzing and investigating the causes, identifying solutions, and recommend or take action.
  • Display and implement a sense of urgency, professionalism, and enforce ownership mentality with the focus of putting customers and potential customers first
  • Work efficiently by team interaction through clear communication of work expectations (utilizing a variety of visual & written aids), monitoring the work progress, and successfully coaching & motivating the team
  • Encourage employees & yourself to improve and maintain professional, technical, and competitor knowledge through related training, reviewing professional publications, and networking. Communicate new learned knowledge to the team.

AG POWER & EQUIPMENT REPAIR TECHNICIAN

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Service and troubleshoot Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pumps, Electrical, Conveyors, Augers, Diesel Engines, Drivetrains, Welding
  • Prepare new and used machines and equipment for delivery to customer
  • Assist Manager in coordinating and prioritizing service requests
  • Display a sense of urgency, professionalism and maintain an ownership mentality while performing required service for internal and external customers
  • Ensure all customers’ requests are completed in a timely manner and according to industry quality standards
  • Maintain a safe work environment identifying potentially unsafe working conditions while following OSHA guidelines and best practices
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment (shop floors, tools, job space, etc.)
  • Working fluently with management and other team members to consistently increase and improve business

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pumps, Electrical, Conveyors, Augers, Diesel Engines, Drivetrains, Welding, 
  • Awareness and compliance with service standards to meet warranty and customer expectations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize utilizing time management skills

CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead a team of 2-8 construction laborers
  • Evaluate on site challenges and execute solutions as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • On-site coordination of materials, equipment, crew, and vendors to meet daily and weekly project deadlines.
  • Promote teamwork and clear communication with other departments to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Strive to decrease technician troubleshooting practices through means of experience, tools, and training
  • Maintain a safe work record, manage, and coach on the use of safety equipment, unsafe working conditions, and enforce company policies as well as OSHA guidelines and best practices as directed through the safety program
  • Work with the Project Managers to monitor the progress on a project and adjusting as needed to meet project goals
  • Display and implement a sense of urgency, professionalism with the focus of putting customers and potential customers first
  • Encourage employees & yourself to improve and maintain professional and technical aptitude.
  • Communicate new information to the team in a timely matter.
  • Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Also conduct 30/60/90-day reviews for new hires

Qualifications:

  • Concrete forming & finishing skills preferred; general mechanical aptitude
  • Good decision making skills, quality focus and demonstrate dependability, successful leadership, control, implementation, and drive
  • Ability to work independently and with team; be productive and efficient in both scenarios
  • Valid driver’s license; capability of acquiring a class A CDL license preferred
  • Experience with skid steers, welding, torches preferred
  • Physical ability lift 50+ pounds, bend, crouch, squat, reach regularly, extensive walking, and work outside in all weather conditions on a regular basis

BOBCAT SERVICE TECHNICAIN 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Service and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
  • Service and troubleshoot Bobcat compact equipment and various brands of small engines
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Provide onsite repairs and maintenance on customer equipment
  • Display a sense of urgency, professionalism and maintain an ownership mentality while performing required service for internal and external customers
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment (shop floors, tools, job space, etc.)
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing applicable training/online courses

Qualifications:

  • Experience/knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and diesel engines
  • Awareness and compliance with service standards to meet warranty and customer expectations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and utilize time management skills
  • Critical level of attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and accomplish work assignments with minimal supervision
  • Capability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
